Wendell Edward Arends, 76, of Janesville, Iowa, died Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clarksville, Iowa.

Marlys Ladell Cuvelier, age 85, was born the daughter of Andrew and Mabel (Jungling) Bergman, September 26, 1940, in

John Wayne Huisman, age 51, of Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Floyd Hook, 82, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Village Care Center.

Norrell Clarice Uhlenhopp was born the daughter of Claus and Cornelia (Harken) DeBerg, March 7, 1939, in rural Shell Rock, Iowa. At the age of 3, she moved with her family to rural Ackley, Iowa. She attended school in Ackley and graduated in 1957.

Nathaniel “Nate” Adam Bertram, age 46, of Aplington, was born the son of William James and Darla Kay (Main) Bertram on January 14, 1980, Waterloo. He was baptized as an infant at First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo. He received his education in West Milford, New Jersey, graduating in 1999. 

Willie (Bill) Debner, 92, died on May 29, 2026, after a brief stay at Allen Hospital.

Janice Elaine Johnson, age 82, was born the daughter of Andrew A. and Albertha (Eilderts) Schipper on August 30, 1943.

David John Lindaman was born at the “DeBuhr Sisters Maternity Home” in Aplington on December 6, 1942.

Richard Vance Landrum, age 77, was the son of James and Clyta (Johnson) Landrum, born January 25, 1949, on Marine Base, Camp Leje

PARKESBURG - Roland “Ro” James Meester, age 75, of Parkersburga, was born the son of Elmer and June (Klosterboer) Meester on March 13, 1951, Grundy Center. He attended Parkersburg High School, graduated in 1969, and attended Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo receiving a degree in Automotive Mechanics.

Betty Lou “Teddy” Olson, 89, of Parkersburg, was the daughter of Raymond and Rose Mary (Plekkenpol) Nieters. She was born on July 22, 1936, in Shakopee, Minnesota, and graduated from Rochester High School.

Marvin D. Bohlen, age 88, passed away peacefully in the early morning of April 17, 2026, surrounded by his family.
