David John Lindaman was born at the “DeBuhr Sisters Maternity Home” in Aplington on December 6, 1942.

Richard Vance Landrum, age 77, was the son of James and Clyta (Johnson) Landrum, born January 25, 1949, on Marine Base, Camp Leje

PARKESBURG - Roland “Ro” James Meester, age 75, of Parkersburga, was born the son of Elmer and June (Klosterboer) Meester on March 13, 1951, Grundy Center. He attended Parkersburg High School, graduated in 1969, and attended Hawkeye Tech in Waterloo receiving a degree in Automotive Mechanics.

Betty Lou “Teddy” Olson, 89, of Parkersburg, was the daughter of Raymond and Rose Mary (Plekkenpol) Nieters. She was born on July 22, 1936, in Shakopee, Minnesota, and graduated from Rochester High School.

Marvin D. Bohlen, age 88, passed away peacefully in the early morning of April 17, 2026, surrounded by his family. 

Donald Ray Wubbena, age 87, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away April 16, 2026, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. 

Earl Lucas DeVries, age 98, of Aplington was born the son of John and Anna (Abraham) DeVries on June 4, 1927, Austinville. He graduated from the Aplington High School in 1945.

LaVonne Mae DeGroote, age 93, was born November 26, 1932, in Grundy County, Iowa, the daughter of James and Anna (Fiet) Sell. She attended and graduated from Reinbeck High School in 1950.

CEDAR RAPIDS - Anne Marie Schwartz, 56, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Clarksville, passed away on April 13, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospital from complications of heart failure.
