Daniel Murray stood before the judge, facing $250 in traffic fines. He told the judge he had 92 cents in his pocket and had walked five miles to the courtroom because he couldn’t afford transportation. The judge carried through with the judgement of the law, that the man was guilty and the fine had to be paid.
