PARKERSBURG – Dike-New Hartford took first place in three individual events and three relays last Monday on its way to the team title at the Aplington-Parkersburg Girls Invitational.
WATERLOO – Kaidyn Purdy and Sam Janssen garnered singles championships Tuesday as the Aplington-Parkersburg boys tennis team tied for first place at the North Iowa Cedar League Invitational.
NORTHWOOD – Alexis Rose won a pair of events and was part of two winning relays, leading North Butler to second place at the Top of Iowa Conference Meet last Thursday in Northwood.
APLINGTON – Isaiah Olson had 11 saves Friday as the Aplington-Parkersburg/Dike-New Hartford United boys soccer team shut out Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck, 2-0.
PARKERSBURG – The Aplington-Parkersburg girls track and field team flexed its muscles last week, taking first place in Alburnett and second against a field of larger schools at the Marshalltown Relays.
NEW HARTFORD – Miya Soppe scored a goal in the second half, lifting the Dike-New Hartford girls soccer team to a 1-1 tie against Union Tuesday in New Hartford.
HAMPTON – Mason Pruisner, Owen Price and Owen Pruisner picked up individual victories last Monday as the Aplington-Parkersburg boys track and field team took second place at the Hampton-Dumont-Cal Invitational.
DIKE – Aplington-Parkersburg and Dike-New Hartford combined for five event titles Tuesday on their way to top-four team finishes as Dike-New Hartford’s Wolverine Invitational.
APLINGTON – Aplington-Parkersburg’s lower seeds won three of their four singles matches and both of their doubles matches Thursday as the Falcons edged Columbus Catholic 5-4 at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.
